Job Duties/Responsibilities:

This position is primarily responsible for selling the Major financial institution Buyer Initiated Payments (BIP) initiative by performing the following duties.

  • 3 to 5 years Sales experience preferred within a service/call center environment.
  • Experience preferred: CREDIT CARD PROCESSING, MORTGAGE LENDING, BANKING, CASH ADVANCE, TELECOM and INSURANCE
  • Experience with software tools is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse group of customers and various management levels. 
  • Above average command and use of the English language.
  • Basic math skills a necessity.
  • Self-motivated, excellent sales skills -inside or outside sales- proven track record
  • of goal achievement.
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced commission setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and phone communication skills. 
  • Dependable and dedicated.
  • Ability to productively work with all support center personnel.
  • Self -starter who demonstrates excellent time-management skills.
  • Sell and close- for a major financial institution- loan products to prospective merchants. Warm leads provided by Lead Generator representatives and various financial institution marketing campaigns
  • Successfully manage call volume in a fast paced, call center environment while achieving sales goals
  • Ensure and maintain the integrity of the financial institution brand through professional work ethic and outstanding customer service attributes.
  • Calling suppliers on behalf of clients provided by Major financial institution in order to enable as a form of payment.
  • Efficiently manage sales pipeline.
  • Meet the required timeframes when initially contacting merchants and following up.
  • Adhere to the quality and standards outlined by Major Financial Institution when calling merchants.

Required Skills:

  • Analytical and comprehension skills
  • Customer service skills including articulate verbal communication skills, well developed active listening, and relationship building
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. Ability to toggle between multiple screens
