Priority Payment Systems offers Gift Card solutions through 2 providers: GETI (Global ETelecom, Inc) and First Data Corporation. Both programs offer standard packages as well as Custom Card options. This allows you more choices of card graphics for your merchants and a wider variety of terminal and software options for acceptance. All out-of-the-box programs include marketing materials and card carriers.

Why do merchants still accept checks with all the other forms of payment available? Over 90% of shoppers have checking accounts. Checks are considered a safe method of payment. They allow shoppers to spend more, offer easy record keeping and avoid paying credit card interest rates.

Check acceptance is easier than ever before through a variety of check services:

  • Verification allows merchants to confirm the customer is not listed on national databases for bad checks.
  • Guarantee ensures that the merchant is protected in case the check is returned for any reason.
  • Conversion saves time and money by converting the paper into an ACH debit to the check writer's account and creating a deposit into the merchant's account.

EQUIPMENT LEASING

Choosing where to spend their money can be a balancing act for some businesses. Some merchants may choose to purchase Point of Sale equipment as a one time expense. Others may opt to lease for tax advantages or to avoid large cash payouts. Leasing allows a small or start-up business to afford more expensive equipment than they could purchase outright. It allows the merchant to make monthly payments over a specified period of time.

Priority Payment Systems offers leasing through our partnership with First Data Global Leasing. Leasing is made even easier since it is integrated into the standard Merchant Application and Program Guide, avoiding long, cumbersome paperwork. Merchants can opt for a 24, 36, or 48 month lease. Our lease agreement offers a buy-out option at the end of the term for as little as 10% in some cases. Merchants are debited directly by FDGL for the agreed-upon monthly payment amount. Merchants may complete a verification form or do a verbal verification with FDGL to facilitate funding. Lease cap amounts are in place to assure that monthly payments stay competitive with the market. Lease factors are based on the credit rating of the merchant.

MERCHANT FUNDING

In recent years, merchants have found that banks and lending institutions are not always able to accommodate the need for smaller, short term loans. Since a merchant's credit card transactions represent a large part of their cash flow, merchants can now receive advanced funding against those receivables. Priority Payment Systems works with several advanced funding companies so that payments can be redirected from the daily batches back to the funding source.
